Looked at a car from this dealer (Craig) yesterday and we agreed a very fair price - we were spoilt for choice . I picked the car up this morning. The car had been fully valeted and a bottle of champagne for my wife to boot. I found Craig to be friendly, genuine and very knowledgeable about his cars from a driver and mechanic perspective. My experience with Equus cars was fantastic from start to finish. Craig is very knowledgeable about his cars. The car i purchased was ideal for me due to spine problems but craig made sure after i tried sitting in the driver seat that it was comfortable. I can only echo what everyone else has said, Craig is a very friendly, fair and honest man. The car I bought was already a good price and he also offered me a good part-ex for my car without the usual messing around. This makes a nice change because I genuinely can't be bothered with people who insist on haggling or behave like your old car is radioactive and they are doing you a favour just taking it. I hate buying cars, but feel that I must share this experience to help people who suffer the same fears as I do when spending my hard earned money. After months of looking at cars and feeling let down with usual stereotypical car sales dodgy dealing process I finally found a car which suited my needs and was within my budget, the seller was recommended to me by a friend which helped me to feel comfortable, from start to finish nothing was too much trouble, the car was as described, the owner of the company looked after me personally , he was very straight talking (which I liked ) everything he said was correct , and everything he promised was fulfilled. I spent over a month looking for a used car to replace my Ancient but trusty Golf. Frankly it got depressing. I met so many "Swiss Tony" types and dealers that either just weren't interested or told you everything was tip top over the phone only to find out it was a heap of junk on arrival. One dealer I drove 35 miles to wasn't even keen to let us have a test drive. The chap at Equus on the other hand went out of his way to help us. He took us out in three cars. I was only really interested in one but he suggested we may like one or two others that would suit our requirements and he spent a long time with us with no pressure. It was like a breath of fresh air meeting him to be honest after all the others. I hope its a long time before I need another vehicle but next time ill just call Equus and tell them what I am after. Other dealers should take note.

Upfront and hassle free. Made the dreaded experience of buying a second hand car more straight forward. Feel like the age, history and condition of the car meant the price was a good deal compared to bigger garages but Equus still has the option of 3months guarantee which gives you piece of mind. We would definitely use him again in the future.

I was looking for a family car for my son who was working away and could not go to see or bring a car back. All but Craig wanted anything from £60 to a £100 to bring any car i bought. Craig really put himself out by bringing the car to Burnley and actually taking the train back on a Sunday morning. Now that is service and on top of that he is a really nice guy to deal with. My son tells me the car is running great and he really lies it for himself and his partners children. I would suggest you don't hesitate to buy a car off this guy.

I generally dislike car dealers due to many bad experiences, but Equus had exactly the car we were looking for. It turned out that Craig was not at all like the bad dealers. Easy to deal with and selling a genuine car at a sensible price. I would buy from him again.

Fair priced for the car excellent test drive not rushed. allowed both me and my wife an extended drive. No pressure to buy was left to make our own minds up. From the moment I rang up I knew I was in safe hands. I called for a specific car and he talked me through every issue so I knew exactly what I was getting before I made the journey. The car is brilliant, is a great price and was exactly as described. Being in sales myself (albeit a different sort) I appreciate that some sales folk are out for extra margin on every sale and want to pull the wool over your eyes, I hate this and it is certainly not so here, he is honest and fair to the core, I can see why the reviews are so good. The whole experience was a total pleasure and nothing was too much trouble, I would happily return any day and will be recommending him. Dreaded having to part with my beloved Mazda 6 but 202500 miles later the day had arrived. Found replacement at Equus...newer model same colour and a 100k less mileage! Can't speak too highly of Craig...friendly knowledgeable and no pressure sales pitch! It's the little things like giving my 86 year dad's car a courtesy wash and was also happy to take my old car as part of the deal even though it had problems and I didn't think I would be able to part ex. All in all a good experience and I'm delighted with my new car...thanks Craig!

I found Craig to be an honest, down to earth no frills salesman. Showed me the car I was after, no hard sell to buy any other. Nice long test drive, told me hand brake needed adjustment (which he got done prior to collecting) also, put a full years mot on. Left me to decide to buy without any pressure or coercion as you get with other car sales. A very satisfactory and pleasant purchase, even got lamb steaks thrown in, now that's service for you. I recently bought a car off Craig his customer service is top class while going to look at a car he let my 2 boys play in his garden offered me and my partner refreshments, and you get a decent test drive. On the day of picking my car up while doing the paperwork he even washed my dad's car while he was waiting. Couple days after got the car had a small problem and Craig didn't hesitate in getting the car back to solve the problem so from start to finish Craig made the process easy I would highly recommend him to anyone and would go back to buy another car off him.

The seller is very knowledgable and upon receiving the car I was given assistance in arranging for small modifications to be done including the fitting of a new stereo and the wax oiling of the under frame by his approved garages.
